Hope Christian High School recently celebrated its 72nd founding anniversary. This year’s theme is Imprints of God’s Faithfulness.
Hope Sunday was celebrated last November 25, 2018, at the Hope Theater Hall. The Hope Handbell Ringers opened the service that day. Praise and worship was extra special during that Sunday because the Hope Chorale and UECP’s Praise and Worship team led the worship together. Dr. Cecilio Pedro was the speaker that morning and he talked about making God F.A.M.O.U.S (Faithful, Awesome, Magnificent, Omnipotent, Universal, Splendor.)
The Alumni Homecoming was cheerfully celebrated on November 25, 2018 at the Hope Gym. Excelsior ’93 hosted this year’s Alumni Homecoming. The Board of Trustees, the Alumni Association, the Golden and Silver Jubilarians, and representatives from different batches graced the event.

Dr. George T. Yang, the recipient of the award, gave his acceptance speech and inspirational message, and then he offered a song number. Mr. John Paul Sy from Excelsior ’93 then led the Thanksgiving Prayer followed by the sumptuous lunch fellowship the guests partook.

Then, Mrs. Angeline Tan-Tiller reported on latest school developments. Ms. Danielle Alexanda Dy then filled the gym with her melodious voice as she sang for everyone.

They also presented contributions to the school and Alumni Association. Then, Batch Excelsior ’93 passed the banner of “Truth and Life” to Centauri ’94, who would be hosting the 73rd Alumni Homecoming. The guests then sang the school anthem and the Cake Parade followed after. To cap the celebration, Mr. Oliver Uy, Executive Vice President of the Board of Trustees, gave the closing remarks, and Rev.
