by Apple Lu (Grade 11)
I start each day with online class,
Hoping the net would work so fast.
Logging on zoom to learn something new,
Wishing that Sir would assign only a few.
Staring at a screen all day long,
Quick writes, reflections, just do me wrong.
But hey, there are apps that’ll help me here,
Quizizz and Nearpods that are just so dear.
These things help me when I’m confused,
Or when my net is really bruised.
Assisting me with the lessons I’ll miss,
Because my mind’s always in abyss.
That’s why I want to go back to school,
Where I can see my friends so cool.
May this pandemic end real soon,
So I can eat in Blessed at noon.
