HS Administrative Supervisor Mr. Andres Ilocto opened the event through a message, welcoming the parents, students and guests. In his remarks, he emphasized that such an event is a celebration of the students’ journey and that the awards and milestones reflect their hard work and God’s sustained grace. As he quoted Jeremiah 29:11, Mr. Ilocto also affirmed that the future ahead of the students is full of purpose.

“You are not here by chance. God has a plan for each one of you, and your achievements are only the beginning of greater things to come,” he said.

In the awarding ceremony, Middle Years Programme (MYP) Years 2-4 and senior high school students were recognized for their outstanding performance in academics and co-curricular activities. Distinctions for With Honors, With High Honors and With Highest Honors were given for students’ academic excellence. The Chinese Department also conferred certificates of recognition for students who demonstrated remarkable performance in Chinese language and culture. Awards from Scholastic and sports tournaments like Chess, basketball, volleyball, and swimming were presented.

In between these award presentations, select performing groups delighted the audience with their special numbers. Hope Chorale charmed the crowd with their sing and dance performance of Ai Ni, while Hope Dance Troupe rendered a dance performance on a High School Musical song medley.

The program culminates with the message of MYP Coordinator Ms. Jhudelle Navarro, reminding the students that their learning journey is not just about grades but about preparing them for life.

“So wherever you go, wherever you go next, bring with you the IB Learner profile, not just as words, but as values you define,” she noted.

Primary Years Programme (PYP) Administrative Supervisor Ms. Edna Batalla greeted the audience, inviting them to enjoy such moments of the event, for it is the fruit of their hard work. She also shared Colossians 3:23 and a quote that can remind students about the BLANK of success.

“A quote also to remember: ‘Success comes from hard work, and good character keeps that success,’” Ms. Batalla stressed.

The recognition of extra-curricular and academic excellence awards then shortly followed. Outstanding elementary students were recognized for their performance in Scholastic, academic and Chinese competitions, and sports tournaments. Students in the honor roll were also lauded for their accomplishments in academics.

School Chaplain Rev. William Jonathan Ong closed both events with a prayer, thanking the Lord for the students’ lives, skills and achievements, and dedicating them all to Him.
