Last March 21, 2022, Hope Christian High School (HCHS) bagged several awards during the FAMMPSA Awarding Ceremony. A number of students participated in the gauntlet of activities like the Math Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Science E-Experiment Exploration, Malikhaing/Masining na Pagkukwento, Virtual Chess Competition, TV Newscasting Competition, and a Video Essay Competition.
The event was presided by Ms. Glenda Sia. After some of the student entries were flashed on screen, the doxology song was sung, followed by the Philippine National Anthem and the Manila hymn. The opening remarks were given by the President of FAMMPSA Dr. Sining M. Kotah, while the closing remarks were delivered by Dr. Rommel Mangila. Mr. Andres Ilocto acknowledged all the participating schools. The awards for math were presented by Ms. Marecell Bernardo, awards for the chess tournament by Mr. Jounah Elegores, the awards for science by Ms. Edna Batalla, and awards for communication arts by Ms. Susan Castillo. Finally, the closing prayer was led by Ms. Virginia Calpe.
HCHS seeks to empower students to not just to apply their excellence within the four walls of the school but also to showcase their God-given abilities in competitions.
