Amazing Race

Proverbs 22:6 “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

Discipline starts from the home and extends to the school. The School City Organization aspires to train students to follow rules. This helps to mold them into good citizens.

Last August 2-3, the Student Council Organization (SCO), in cooperation with the Spiritual Department held a school wide activity, called “Amazing Race”.  The activity aimed to discipline students to follow instructions in a fun way.

From Grade 1 to 12, the students were grouped into 10 families identified by 10 colors. Each group consisted of students from different grade levels. The 10 families will be spread into groups: Grades 1 to 3, Grades 4 to 6, Grades 7 to 9, and Grades 10 to 12. Each family went thru 10 bases to perform different tasks. l (e.g. singing the Philippine National Anthem, reciting Panatang Makabayan and Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Cleanliness Game, Proper Greeting, Arranging of Books in the Library, Proper Grooming, Proper Lining Up, Proper Passing of Paper, Proper Cafeteria Etiquette.)
