Students in the Technical Vocation strand of the Senior High School Department were tasked to replace missing elevator buttons in the Alumni Building via 3D printing.
Students needed to take actual, real-world measurements and they needed to record these findings.
The students then translated and designed their prospective elevator button in 3D.
They 3D printed the elevator button.
Finally, they installed their elevator buttons.
Rendering “obsolete” parts… obsolete!
