HCHS SAFETY PLANS Orientation

HCHS SAFETY PLANS Orientation

“The prudent see danger and take refuge.” – Proverbs 27:12

As we prepare for School Year 2025–2026, we are reminded that stewardship of life is a calling. At HCHS, we believe that disaster preparedness is not only a safety protocol but also a God-honoring practice to protect the lives He has entrusted to our care.

Last July 16, HCHS welcomed a team of experts for a disaster readiness orientation. Faculty from the PYP, MYP, DP, and SHS departments, together with our dedicated staff and co-workers, actively participated in hands-on training at the school quadrangle.

The orientation covered practical responses to fire and earthquakes. Participants learned how to properly use a fire extinguisher, practiced crawling under tables as part of an evacuation drill, and were reminded of essential safety measures.

We thank God for this opportunity to equip our school community — not just with knowledge, but with the wisdom to respond with calm, courage, and care should a disaster arise.

Let us continue to be vigilant and trust in God as our refuge and strength.
