Jump, laugh, paint, repeat! Our preschoolers truly had a kinetic and colorful blast, topping off the end of the first unit. Kinder, junior kinder, and nursery pupils embodied their learning through activities that tested their motor and creative skills.
The Busy Body Day
To wrap up Unit 1, which focused on physical health, our little learners celebrated their learning through a fun and active culminating event! The day began with a lively dance exercise to get their bodies moving, followed by exciting games that brought lots of laughter and smiles. The students eagerly applied what they had learned about staying active, making healthy choices, and working together as a team.
It was heartwarming to see their energy, confidence, and joy shine throughout the activities. By the end of the day, everyone was happily tired — a meaningful and joyful way to celebrate being healthy and active together!

Friendship Painting Day
The Junior Kinder learners joyfully celebrated the end of Unit 1 with a colorful and exciting Friendship Painting Day. With their friends by their side, they fetched water in buckets, squeezed paint bottles, mixed colors to create new ones, and painted with so much joy and excitement. It was a wonderful day filled with teamwork, laughter, and creativity! There’s no better way to celebrate than with friends—discovering that when we work together, we can create something truly beautiful!

Body Mural Painting
Our Unit 1 was filled with energy and excitement as the nursery children explored all the amazing ways their bodies can move! Capping off the unit, we celebrated with a fun and messy body mural painting activity. Each child had their body traced onto paper — which sparked lots of giggles — and then got to paint their “body” however they liked. Not only did this give them a chance to see what their bodies look like in 2D, but it also helped build their spatial awareness and body recognition. As they mixed colors while painting, they were amazed to see new colors appear — a fun and hands-on way to explore early color theory. Plus, all that tracing, painting, and mixing gave their fine motor skills a great workout! It was a colorful, creative, and joyful way to end a unit full of movement, discovery, and learning through play.
