Sakamoto National Math Competition (NMC)

Hope Christian High School, now on its third year as a Sakamoto Math Center, participated in the recently held Sakamoto National Math Competition (NMC) last February 13, 2011 at the Hotel H2O.  This competition aims to select the Philippine representatives who will be eligible to compete in the 9th World Mathematics Competition (WMC) to be hosted by the Philippines this year on April 16, 2011.

Daniel P. Ton, a Grade 6 student of HCHS and Frank Samuel C. Gaerlan, a Grade 4 student bested other participants and emerged as Champions of their grade levels.  Ton and Gaerlan will be joined by 10 other Hope students who successfully qualified to be part of the Philippine Team for this year’s WMC.
